These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Honestly iPhone app and website. By downloading, accessing, or using Honestly, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

About Honestly

Honestly is a personal reflection tool that offers daily questions, private reflections, favorites, a timeline, and insights. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to use of online services where you live, to use Honestly.

Acceptable use

You may use Honestly for your personal, lawful use. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or violate another person's rights or applicable law.

Your content

You retain your rights in reflections and other content you create. You grant Honestly the limited permission necessary to store, synchronize, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the content you enter and any decision to share it outside the app.

Not medical or crisis support

Honestly is not medical, mental-health, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. It is not a crisis or emergency service. If you may be in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

Subscriptions and purchases

Honestly may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions and other in-app purchases. Prices, billing period, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Apple processes payments and manages renewals, cancellations, and refunds under its terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Unless Apple's terms provide otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Honestly. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain the service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. You should keep any copies of information you consider important.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honestly is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honestly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Apple App Store terms

These Terms are between you and Honestly, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support, or claims relating to it. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or Honestly will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires another forum.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. Your continued use of Honestly after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
